Nadim Elshazly, DPT
Nadim Elshazly is a highly skilled Doctor of physical therapy in New York City and the leader of the team at High Line Rehab. Dr. Elshazly has earned his Bachelor's of physical therapy from Cairo University then he earned his Doctorate of physical therapy from the Dominican College of Blauvelt in Orangeburg, NY. Elshazly is affiliated member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Elshazly has extensive experience working with athletes and has a particular interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He participated in the world special Olympic games in 2009, 2010 and 2012 as a medical screener. He was honored to become a regional clinical advisor for the organization in the region of the Middle East and North Africa. He was also trained at Cairo University Medical Teaching Hospitals as well as Pro Center for sports injuries in Egypt. He treated professional athletes as well as members of the national soccer first team. Dr. Elshazly is interested in using up-to-date techniques and technologies to treat every patient according to his/her needs and lifestyles. He excels in the use of manual therapy and other advanced physical therapy techniques, such as Active Release Techniques® (ART), and myofascial release. He and his team treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including pain associated with the neck, back, elbow, knee, and shoulder. Amira Salib, PT
Salib earned her Physical Therapy Degree from the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University. Finished her internship at Cairo University Medical Teaching Hospitals. She worked as a physical therapist specializing in sports injuries and sports rehabilitation. Then she worked for the United States Navy's biggest overseas medical laboratory as the Ergonomics Manager Program after completion of the Ergonomics Certificate at the Navy Base, Norfolk, VA. She was also the Physical Therapist and the Health& Fitness Center manager at the navy unit. Ms. Salib has also extensive experience with nursing home facilities, she held several supervisory positions in nursing home facilities during the past 3 years.
